Role and Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repair of electrical controls/systems
• Assist/lead control retrofit projects
• Installing electrical conduit/wiring and related hardware
• Electrical control panel fabrication and wiring
• Travel required

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Electrical control panel fab and wiring experience preferred
• Field service/on site troubleshooting and repair experience required
• PLC, HMI and VFD programming and troubleshooting experience a plus

Preferred Skills

• Good mechanical aptitude and logical approach to problems
• Use of common hand and power tools including: screwdrivers, wrenches/socket wrenches, wire cutting and crimping, corded and cordless drills/drivers, metal cutting (band saw, jig saw, friction saw), files and grinders.
• Able to read and interpret electrical and simple mechanical schematics
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.)
• Good written and oral communication skills
