Employee Spotlight

Eric started at PSC on 5/1/2014 at the Columbia location.

Before PSC, Eric had many different jobs including a Teacher’s Assistant at Tennessee Tech University, Testing Engineer, and various engineering and welding jobs.

When asked what he loves most about PSC, he said he enjoys the challenge of trying to solve a problem, implementing the solution, and the satisfaction of seeing it work.

He is a Cost Reduction / Continuous Improvement Engineer. While his job title hasn’t changed, as the Columbia plant grows and evolves, his job has had to evolve with it.

He said the most unique thing about PSC is the fact that PSC is a household name without people knowing it. Our products are in every household, whether in their car, appliances, ac units, etc.

A memory from PSC that stands out to him was helping with disaster relief at the Auburndale plant after hurricane Irma. He specifically remembers the long drive from Columbia to Auburndale and seeing all of the destruction including the large, Live Oak Trees laid over in the streets.

A recent achievement he’s particularly proud of was redoing all of the die layouts for the new Carrier business.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys being involved with the Cub Scouts, roller skating, and all things automotive including motorsports and working on cars. He especially enjoys automotive performance, welding, and customizing his own vehicles
