Employee Spotlight - May 2024

Peggy Norris

Meet our Employee Spotlight for May: Peggy Norris! Peggy is the Office Manager at our plant in Columbia, TN, and this month marks her 43rd anniversary at PSC. In her time at PSC, Peggy has demonstrated growth and versatility. Peggy started at PSC washing rubber, and has performed many different roles since then, including cutting parts, quality control, and her current position as the Office Manager. The continuous opportunity for growth is one of Peggy’s favorite things about PSC. Peggy’s dedication, diligence, and hard work shines in everything that she does for our company. “I always tell people I bleed PSC,” she says.

What Peggy loves most about working at PSC is the people. She enjoys the opportunities to bring everyone closer together, such as group lunches and holiday dinners. She fondly remembers when PSC used to have company picnics, and employees had the opportunity to meet one another’s families.

A memory that sticks out to Peggy is when PSC Columbia moved to its current location. She recalls that it was one of the first buildings in the area; the highway wasn’t even there yet. They got to tour the building before the concrete was poured. It was a really interesting experience for the employees, and she said that in that moment, they all felt like one big happy family.

She feels that PSC is unique because of the way that everyone works together as a team. “Everyone has a spot and it does not matter if you are a material handler or a corporate leader – your role is important for PSC to thrive.”

Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting blankets, reading, and watching TV. When she retires, she plans on spending more time with her family. She looks forward to “sitting on a riverbank, just watching people and boats go by.”
