Employee Spotlight- June 2021
Gabriela, also known as “Gabby” is an employee at our SLP facility. She joined the PSC family in January of 2008 and has been with us for 13 years.
Before PSC, Gabby worked in the accounting department at a hotel, and prior to that, she was finishing her degree.
She said the thing she loves the most about working here is the opportunity to be useful to her coworkers. She also stated that she likes challenges and doing things well.
When she first started at PSC she was in charge of payroll and other administrative tasks. Her current role is Quality Manager, but she is involved in many different departments.
When asked about a specific memory, she wanted to share a story about one of her coworkers that showcases “the power of transformation of all the individuals that make up a company.” Her story is as follows:
I have a coworker that’s my same age and started around the same time as myself. He started out in packaging. Every day I saw his continued effort and consistency. He was well mentored by our leaders and is a key member of our team. He now is our Warehouse Chief and has gained the trust of not only all of us, but also our customers. He cares greatly about our customers and it reflects well on the company.
Outside of work, Gabby enjoys salsa dancing. She said in another life maybe she would’ve been a dancer for Marc Anthony.
