Employee Spotlight- July 2021
Meet Katie Schneider! Katie is an employee at our Muscatine facility. She started at PSC in 2011 and her 10th anniversary is this October.
Before PSC, Katie was a direct care provider for adults with developmental disabilities.
When she first started at PSC, Katie worked in the office processing customer orders and buying raw materials. She is now the Plant Supervisor for the 1st shift.
Katie said she loves working for PSC because everyone works together as a team, even employees at other locations. Someone is always available to help if they need it.
Katie also loves the opportunities. She said if you work hard and are dedicated, there’s always room for advancement within the company.
Katie also mentioned that she loves how many employees have been with PSC for decades. She said “I think it is awesome that there are so many employees with 20-30+ years experience.” She also mentioned that she enjoys helping out her coworkers and being involved in most of the day-to-day operations including everything from operating machines to helping out in the office.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, traveling, and spoiling her pets.
