Employee Spotlight- October 2022
Mike started with PSC in the original Ft. Smith plant in 2006 and was officially hired on full time on August 27, 2007. Once the new Ft. Smith plant opened, he ironically was hired again on August 27, 2018.
His first position was Receiving Clerk and he’s currently the Box Truck Driver.
Mike said that he loves the benefits and his coworkers are great! He also said that he thinks the company is awesome because of how many locations we have and the many different products we produce. He said “it feels good to be a part of that.”
One of his favorite memories is of the cookout they had when the first plant closed. He remembers the games they played and the tearful goodbyes at the end. He said he misses the old Ft. Smith plant but getting the chance to work for PSC again makes him feel like he’s back at home where he belongs.
He’s proud of his 5 Year Service award he received at the first Ft. Smith plant and is looking forward to getting his second one at the new plant.
Outside of work, Mike sings in a local Ft. Smith band and enjoys singing karaoke.
