Employee Spotlight- December 2021
Diana was a part of the original Ft. Smith plant from 1986 to 2014 when the plant closed. She returned in 2018 when the new Ft. Smith plant opened.
Diana has been with PSC for 3 consecutive years, but 31 years in total. When she first started, the temp service told her this would only be a three-day job. Diana said it’s been a long three days.
Her original position in 1986 was Fiberglass Laminator Operator and she is now Production Supervisor.
In between her time with PSC, Diana was a cook at an elementary school.
The thing that Diana loves most about PSC is the people. Both times she’s worked at PSC, she said it has felt like family.
Diana also speaks fondly about PSC giving her the opportunity to learn and advance within the company and is proud to have been a part of the team that opened up the new Ft. Smith plant!
We asked Diana to compare her first time with PSC to her second and if there have been any changes. She said there’s been a lot of changes with the machines, technology, and people but overall, the company feels the same as before.
Outside of work, Diana enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
