Employee Spotlight- November 2021

Robbyn joined the PSC family in 1997 and has been with us, at both Kentucky St. and Maple St., for 24 years!

Before PSC, Robbyn was an Army wife, and a stay-at-home mom. Once her kids started school, she began work monitoring security alarms for an independent company.

Robbyn’s first position at PSC was a Spec Writer when everything was all handwritten. She’s also been a Shipping Clerk, Material Control, a Quoter, and is currently a Customer Service Representative.

When asked what she finds unique about PSC, Robbyn said being able to morph & make changes based on the market demands from various OEMs. She also mentioned that she loves how PSC allows its employees to grow with the new scenarios and that she can move around to different departments and help wherever she is most needed.

Robbyn has two memories from PSC that stick out to her. The first is when she was working at Maple St. and touring the 4th floor with a former plant manager trying to find space for all of the material she just ordered. The second memory was from Kentucky St. when a bat got stuck inside the plant and she had to help guide it out.

An achievement that Robbyn was particularly proud of was assisting in debugging some of the issues with the purchase order program and the quote tracker system.

Outside of work, Robbyn enjoys genealogy, crocheting, quilting, and bead crafts.
