Employee Spotlight- November 2022

Jorge is an employee at our SLP location and has been with PSC since May 2002. He started as the Plant Supervisor and is now the Production Manager.

Before PSC, he worked as a taxi driver, in the clothing industry, and for his local government.

Jorge said he loves everything about working at PSC including the challenges, constant learning, day-to-day activities, and getting to serve others.

He remembers one of the customer projects he worked on that was meant to be small, but once it hit the market it became a major success. This drastically increased demand and resulted in the whole team working long days. Despite the long hours, everyone returned to work the next day, and many on this team still work there. Jorge said this fills him with pride to belong to such a great team.

Jorge was very proud to be a part of the manufacturing process of “Little Faith.” Little Faith is the English translation of a custom machine they built in SLP.  They refer to this machine as Little Faith or “Poca Fe” in Spanish because in the beginning, no one thought it would work. Jorge also said he’s proud to be a part of the improving company culture at SLP.

Outside of work Jorge enjoys horseback riding and working out, especially CrossFit.
