Employee Spotlight- July 2022

Tommy is an employee at the Columbia facility. He started on April 15, 1980, for a total of 42 years! He still has his first photo ID from when he started.

Prior to PSC, Tommy worked in construction.

He started as a Slitter Operator and is now the Foam Department Lead. He is also capable of running the foam laminator, chopper, Allied Gear, 27” slitter, Thompson Press, H-Saw, and V-Saw.

Tommy is known for his excellent work ethic, positive attitude toward fellow employees, and his willingness to help in different areas of the plant.

Tommy mentioned that he likes the security of his job and the benefits it provides for him and his family.

He also enjoyed learning and meeting new people when he had to travel to New York and Louisville for work.

He’s proud to have achieved 42 years at PSC and enjoys the challenge of learning new machines and training new employees.

Outside of work, Tommy loves fishing, hunting, yard work, and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.
