Meet January’s employee spotlight: Karen Ehlers! Karen works at our Home Office in Louisville, Kentucky as the Purchasing Manager in the Corporate Sourcing Group. This month, she is celebrating her 45th anniversary with the company! Her continued dedication, hard work, and adaptability has made her a treasured member of the PSC team. 

Karen started her journey at PSC her senior year of high school as the Sales Department Secretary. Since then, she has performed many different roles within the company, including Sales Coordinator, Buyer, Office Manager, Materials Manager, and her current role, Purchasing Manager. Her ability to take on and excel in these different positions is her proudest achievement at PSC. Her continued growth and versatility makes her a valued member of our team.

Karen’s favorite part about working at PSC is the people that she gets to work with. She has enjoyed developing relationships with her coworkers, our suppliers, and our customers. She feels like PSC is unique because it is such a diverse company.  In this environment, she feels like she learns something new every day. 

Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time outdoors. She likes gardening, fishing, and taking pictures at sunset.
