Meet our February employee spotlight: Karen Canales! Karen is the Head of the Human Resources Department at our plant in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon. Throughout her time at PSC, Karen has demonstrated immense growth, dedication, and a strong work ethic. These qualities make her a valued member of the PSC team.

Karen started at PSC four and a half years ago as a Human Resources Assistant. Shortly after starting, she accepted the challenge of changing positions and taking full responsibility for the human resources department. Karen’s hard work and commitment has become invaluable to PSC. She has played an instrumental role in implementing effective talent development strategies, which has resulted in providing better care to our employees. She works every day to make efforts to move the department forward.

Karen’s favorite thing about working at PSC is the people that she works with. She appreciates the opportunity that PSC provides to work with so many different people. “I love everything about working at PSC,” she said, “including the challenges and being able to help or serve others.”

Outside of work, Karen enjoys going out to the movies and playing board games. She values spending time with the people that she loves.
