Employee Spolight - October 2026
Keith Vaughn
Meet our employee spotlight for October: Keith Vaughn! Keith is the general manager of our plant in Milledgeville, GA. He has been a dedicated member of the PSC team for 44 years, and is retiring this October.
“The very first day here in Milledgeville, I started out as a helper. On that first day, I picked fiberglass parts as they came out of the die press and packed them in a carton.” Today, PSC still works with the customer that bought those fiberglass parts. In addition to growing and evolving as an individual, Keith helped our business grow as well.
The business that Keith earned PSC through the years led to the opening of several of our plants, including our largest plant in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Keith travelled to Mexico help open the plant and interview candidates for general manager. “After a long, hot, and tiring day, in walks our final candidate. It was Manuel Rodriguez. After that interview, we knew that this was the one. Manuel still works with PSC today.” Helping start the Nuevo Laredo plant is one of Keith’s favorite memories in his time at PSC.
Keith has had an immeasurable impact on PSC. He is not only an incredible salesman and manager, but a wonderful person to work with. His strong work ethic and expertise are matched only by his positive attitude and uplifting demeanor. He is always willing to offer assistance or insight whenever someone needs help. He is a pleasure to work with not only for his fellow PSC employees, but for our customers and suppliers as well.
One thing that has stood out to Keith in his time at PSC is the incredible support throughout the company. Whenever help is needed, someone is always ready to step in and offer assistance, whether it be for raw materials, machine time, engineering support, or simply advice. So many PSC employees are quick to answer the call to help with a plant in need. Additionally, the diverse capabilities and vast array of specialized equipment across locations make us well equipped to support our different locations internally and better support our customers.
“There are so many things to love about this place. If there were not, I would not have stayed for this long. Perhaps my favorite thing is working with a great group of people. Isn’t it always those work relationships that make work a better place?”
Outside of work, he enjoys taking care of his garden, writing, and hiking. As his retirement approaches, what he most looks forward to is the opportunity to spend more time with his wife of over 40 years.
We are so grateful for the dedication that Keith has shown over the last 44 years, and we congratulate him on his well-deserved retirement.
