Employee Spotlight- March 2022
Brian is an employee at Falls City Machine Technology and has been with PSC since 2014.
Before PSC, Brian worked for an industrial electronics and controls service company for 17 years.
When asked about what he loves about working at PSC, Brian said being able to help solve unique and challenging machine control issues for a great group of people.
He originally started as the Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair. Now, he is also the Machine Control Designer.
Brian also mentioned how unique it is that employees from different facilities form such close relationships despite being spread out across the US and Mexico.
A memory that sticks out to Brian is when he was originally hired. He was on a field service call at our Maple St. location and the current GM called him into his office and told him if he ever planned to leave his current job to give him a call. A few weeks later, Brian began working at PSC.
Brian’s most proud contributions include modernizing and standardizing outdated press controls to make cross-training operators easier and allowing remote access for off-site troubleshooting.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys canoeing, dragon boat racing, biking, and hiking. He also enjoys occasionally making wooden canoes and paddles for his hobbies.
